We continuously work towards self-improvement and promoting eco-friendly practices. We only work with responsible suppliers who do not use banned chemicals or hazardous substances, and prioritise the use of chemicals with the least harmful impact on the environment. Reducing our Environmental Footprint
Lexta has obtained Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certification, ensuring that the timber it sources, processes, and distributes comes from sustainably managed forests. This means that the timber used in our products is harvested in an environmentally friendly manner, considering factors such as biodiversity conservation, protection of natural habitats, and the rights of indigenous communities. Our manufacturing approach prioritises sustainability by minimising formaldehyde emissions, using modern finishing equipment, and implementing effective dust collection systems. We actively promote resource conservation by reusing fabric and foam offcuts and sourcing renewable and recyclable materials.

We communicate the importance of environmental responsibility to all parties involved, including designers, craftsman and suppliers about the sustainable life cycle of our furniture. From conception to post-use, we take responsibility for every detail to create functional and beautiful designs that are timeless and durable. To combat the negative effects of shipping on the environment, Lexta focuses on local production in the Asia Pacific regions, reducing delivery lead time, shipping costs and our carbon footprint. We also conduct on-demand manufacturing to only produce what is needed without product wastage.
