General Care

To ensure the longevity and high quality of your Lexta products, we recommend following these general care guidelines. For comprehensive care and maintenance instructions, as well as warranty terms, please refer to the original material manufacturer. If you have any further inquiries or require additional information, please feel free to email us at info@lexta.co.

FABRIC

  • Vacuum gently but regularly.

  • Use the services of professionals cleaners when a more thorough cleaning is required over time.

  • Tend to stains and spillage immediately.

  • For non-removable covers, the best cleaning methods are hot water extraction, on-site dry cleaning, or shampoo cleaning.

  • Applying a fabric protectant to your upholstered furniture can result in the nullification of your fabric manufacturer’s warranty. Please clarify on this before getting a stain guard applied.

VINYL

  • Dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.

  • To remove persistent stains, gently wipe the affected area with alcohol, then rinse with warm water, and dry with a soft, clean cloth.

  • Use vinyl cleaners in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

LEATHER

  • Dust regularly with a clean and dry, lint-free duster or cloth.

  • If you need to wipe down an area, dust it first to ensure grainy particles do not scratch the surface.

  • If there is liquid or moisture on the surface, wipe it all away immediately with a clean, dry cloth.

  • Only use proprietary leather cleaners in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

  • Do not use foreign, non-specific, cleaning products.

  • Clean frequent contact areas such as armrests and headrests regularly to avoid build-up of body oils.

  • Powder-coated metal - clean surfaces regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened in mild detergent and warm water.

  • Chrome – use a cotton wadding polish for cleaning chrome.

  • To prevent tarnishing, apply a soft wax paste onto metal surfaces.

  • Use coasters under cold, hot, or damp objects.

  • Lightly buff the surface in the direction of the wood grain with a soft lint-free cloth from time to time.
